Well... It's been one week now and this huge contraption has me on edge at times. When I try to sleep, I may lay on my right side with my hand supported straight up in the air, lay on my back with my a pillow on my stomach and my hand on top, or I lay on my left side with that pillow laying on my right leg and my hand on top... no room for error. LOL!
The doc told me to wiggle my fingers a lot which I've been able to do. On Sunday night, Julie took my right thumb and stretched it into my palm... it hurt, but not too bad. Then she took my index finger and stretcthed it into my palm. OMG! It sent me through the ceiling... then, after yelling and telling her thatit hurt, she did it again! "Well, the doctor said to move your fingers." I was definitely considering homicide after the second act!
I told her he said 'wiggle', not stretch. I still have three stitches in my palm, seven or so on the back of my hand, and several where the arthroscope was used... OUCH!
There are times it all feels good with the help of the medication. Then, like right now, I feel really unsettled and my hand just aches from the inside. I can tell the difference in the type of pain from the wounds healing and the joints recovering.
I head back to the surgeon on Tuesday to have wrapping and stitches removed. Then they'll fit me into a fiberglass cast. It will be my first hard cast ever.
Here's a poll to keep you all occupied while waiting for the warm weather to return...

I was in at SFT pre-sale browsing. My real purpose was to research custom bait colors... LOL!
How about 'The Purple Headed Warrior' or the laminated Green Pumpkin/Salt and Pepper... bottom side would be the S&P and the darker GP would be on top.
Don't even suggest 'Pink'!
