The Fish Grip

The Fish Grip is a great and handy tool made by the Norton Lure company. It grips the fishes lip without causing injury or punctures due to the flat surface of the gripper. You don’t need to handle the fish which can remove it’s protective ’slime’ and make it vulnerable to infection. It’s inexpensive, light weight and can be attached to a scale for safely weighing your catch (just deduct 5 oz.). It even floats, making it perfect for fishing from a kayak.

It also works great with Norton’s D-Gouger tool which is great for quickly and easily removing hooks.
